RINKA Dance

We understand that not every child is interested in competition so we have created RINKA Dance just for you!

This programme, is aimed at giving dancers the knowledge and skills to be able to dance as a party piece, dance for fitness and dance for friendship.

Wigs, fake tan, pressure and competition are a big no-go at RINKA Dance!! We just dance for the love of it.

RINKA Dance

Our aim at RINKA Dance is to share our passion of our beautiful tradition, to inspire the next generation of dancer and to offer dance in a fun-filled way that will provide them with nothing but positive memories in years to come.

The Classes

We have four different levels of class.

    Toddle Dance

This adorable class introduces 3-4 year olds to the movements and music of Irish dance and sets them up with the foundation they need to progress in dance. We focus on rhythm, timing, balance, co-ordination, team work and having fun! This class is ideal for building confidence and self-esteem as well as social skills and fitness levels in your little dancer.

We then have three more levels for dancers to move through;

  1. RINKA Little Jiggers
  2. RINKA Rockers
  3. RINKA Treblers

Each class teaches children the fundamental moves in Irish Dance, helps them to understand the intricacies of our beautiful traditional music and focuses on fun, fitness and friendship rather than grades, competition and winning.

We use fun-filled games, exercise to modern music routines and make sure the heart rates are raised in every class!

RINKA Dance is ideal for anyone who simply wants to be an Irish Dancer without any of the fuss.

Meet our RINKA Dancer, Ruth.

So firstly, Ruth is a sister of CEO, Sarah! She has been involved with the RINKA programmes from the beginning. She will be contributing to the choreography and programme content of RINKA dance.

Ruth is an outstanding dancer, with two silver world medals to her name along with other championship titles.

She has a first class honours degree in Health Science and Physiology and is also a qualified sports therapist.

Ruth’s passion for Irish Dance, combined with her unique understanding of the RINKA ethos, and her love for promoting health and fitness, make her the ideal lady for the job.
